Unit 311

Wonderful Unit and Location
We were so happy to return to Caper Beach Club on Fort Myers Beach and after Ian. Unit 311 is a slice of paradise....provides clean, modern living space with all the amenities you may want for both kids and adults. Our family of 5 (with 3 young children) thought the unit and grounds were perfect - wonderful pool and the tennis/pickle ball courts were great to have again. Location on the island can't be beat...we look forward to returning.

C311 condo is spacious, comfortable, clean, functional, and lovely.

We regret staying at The Caper Beach Club 3/22-3/29/25.

According to Diane (front desk) my family and I are, ‘bad customers’. She told us, ‘don’t come back’.

We’re bad because our 5 & 6 year old boys were playing basketball with a floating toy we brought from home. Diane told us that the toy violated a pool rule, but suggested our children and their new friends should play with that toy on the small grass area next to the standing water and service street. (By the way, it’s gross to walk around standing water to enter/exit the pool area.)

Here are the pool rules that are most challenging for families:
-No inflatables
-No flotations
-No ball playing

Seriously, at a pool?? What if your kid can’t swim? Who wrote and approved these? The same people who collect 20% of all rental income for the building? Yep, those grumpy anti-kid patrol curmudgeons who complain to the front desk.

3/27 the whole building was displaced due to no electricity and no water. Unbelievable. We understand that sometimes unfortunate things can occur. When we asked Diana about compensation, or discounted options for us to have lunch, etc. they told us they were not responsible and would doing anything for renters.

They also aren’t responsible for the pool umbrellas with plastic fasteners that blew out of their holders and onto people pool-side. The maintenance guys apologized for the danger and thanked us for removing them.

Diane told us we could use the pool during that time- BUT the condo owners we met ay the pool told us the pool’s electric filtration system will not work and to stay out of the pool. (The same outage situation occurred a just before our arrival.) We paid for a day pass and lunch for my family at Pink Shell.
